Pink Floyd Pig Inspires Donald Trump Protest

0

The cover of Pink Floyd’s 1977 album Animals is the inspiration behind one Chicago design agency’s Donald Trump protest.

Animals famously contains a floating pig, and New World Design Ltd. is proposing to make use of pigs of their very own to block out the phrase “Trump” from that city’s Trump Tower.

An outline on the company’s official web site reads:

Comprised of 4 gold coloured balloon pigs tethered to buoys within the Chicago River, the folly is a design effort by NWD to supply visual relief to the residents of Chicago by interrupting the view of the ostentatious Trump Tower Chicago sign. The design scheme follows rigorous rationale in offering layers of which means whereas allowing for nuanced interpretations by viewers.
